I'm from Woodridge, IL; in addition to writing I love to garden, cook, teach Reiki, enjoy quality time with my cat, read and learn new ideas and skills, create art and craft projects, get involved as a volunteer with local groups, get out and walk in the woods or fields to savor nature's inspirations, socializing with family and friends and fooling around on the internet - which is how I landed here!.

I have a BA in Behavioral Science from NLU. My past work has included medical insurance claims and billing, graphic design, administrative, sales, retailing (keyholder), and gift store owner. I've been writing for other sites also for awhile now, in the areas of healthcare, mental health, fitness, gardening (especialy herbs, herbal recipes and herbcrafts), craft projects, and 'about town' interviewing all kinds of interesting people.
